Stratford-On-Avon Racecourse, more commonly known as Stratford Racecourse, is located in Warwickshire, England. The course is one of the smallest in the country and has three enclosures which are Club Enclosure, Tattersall Enclosure and Centre Course. The course is limited to National Hunt Racing, however, it does not function in the winter.
Meetings are held between March and September. There are 19 racing fixtures in total and the course has been holding meetings since 1755.
The racecourse is also used for numerous other things. The centre course is used for events such as the annual Motorhome and Caravan Show, Blue Rodeo and CAMRA Beer Festival.
Richard Johnson has won the most races at Stratford, victorious 22% of the time and with around 200 winners to his name. In terms of trainers, Paul Nicholls has a good record and currently returns a profit at the course.
