Bet365 has proven to be one of the most reliable bookies around from our experience. Because of their reputation as a top internet bookie, you expect a lot from them, but sometimes when it comes to their betting applications, bookmakers can get it all wrong. So it’s interesting to see if the mobile app bet365 meets the company’s high standards in other fields.
So we’re all about placing the mobile app to the real test, spending hours passing through its features and functionality, rating it and comparing it to other significant betting locations.
Bet365 Apple App – bet365 for iOS How Good Is It?
There’s a lot going on when you look at the characteristics of the bet365 app, it’s compatible with three distinct mobile platforms, supports more live-stream sports than anywhere else, and has everything you’ll find on their website.
But that doesn’t necessarily imply when it’s in use it will work. Sports betting apps need to be built flawlessly with seamless navigation having a great list of features is not good if you can’t put them all together in an easy-to-use interface.
The mobile app is fast becoming the primary focus of bet365. Everyone is moving away from using a PC, definitely to the smartphone to place sports bets for betting anyway, so it’s essential that if bet365 wants to remain dominant, they put as much effort into the app as they can. The excellent thing is that all the promotions ofbet365 work on the site’s mobile version as well as the desktop and laptop versions.
Bet365 iOS & Apple Devices
You can download the bet365 iOS app from the Apple Store, but you’ll need a bet365 account to log in. Once you download the app and install it on your Apple device, you can generate one.
What’s great about the Bet365 Apple App?
As I said before, bet365’s mobile app is one of the most comprehensive sports betting applications from all the bookmakers out there. The entire range of markets for sports and betting is almost covered. A few sports and promotions are lacking, but it can be readily forgiven as this bookie has one of the biggest lists of both.
Furthermore, the depth of coverage for each sports industry on the internet platform is matched. Mobile apps are used primarily for betting in-play, and bet365 makes no errors with the in-play function of the app. The function operates smoothly, the chances alter quickly, minimizing any bet delays.
Our tests found the odds to be the same as the site’s website variant, so you can be sure you get the same price from bet365 as you do on the website for in-play bets on the mobile app.
The design is almost precisely like the website version, with the only significant distinctions being that you have to modify the screen layout because a mobile screen is lower than the PC or laptop version to work with.
The design is very comparable, with in-play action snippets, offers and upcoming highlights mentioned in the center of the primary page (but included in a drop-down A-Z menu on a phone).
There are quick connections across the top to the main sports, which is a helpful addition because it keeps some sports from scrolling down.
When in-play, the outstanding statistics stay, but they are displayed on the correct hand along with the scoreboard, unlike the PC version. You must also reach the bet slip via a distinct tab if you want to check your bets or cash out in-play. Also accessible on mobile is live streaming, but more later on.
How easy is placing a bet?
A well-designed scheme implies you should never place a bet on the mobile app more than five clicks away. In some cases, this can even be considerably decreased, as if you realise that your fixture is presently in play. Otherwise, it’s just a case of navigating from the homepage to the required event.
This is crucial in fast-running sports such as tennis and football, where you want it to be as quickly as possible when putting bets on mobile devices or live betting so you can obtain the highest odds. This is one of the reasons why mobile devices are crucial for betting on tennis or soccer, but less significant for sports such as horse racing.
The next page will show the day fixtures for that sport, accessible leagues and tournaments after selecting the required sport. The fixtures for that contest will be displayed after the selection of the appropriate contest.
Just as with the variant of the website, pick your bets by tapping (rather than clicking) on the chances of choosing. This will automatically bring up a tab at the bottom of the screen for the bet slip, so press the bet slip tab if you’re just putting a single, or proceed to add choices before going to the various bet slip.
Things work the same way as once in the bet slip with the portable platform as with the desktop variant. Simply enter in the box the stake and hit the bet box. You will be told to check the bet before the bet is finalised.
If the odds change for an in-play bet, before placing a bet, you will be asked to accept the new odds. Once you place bets, you can find them in the My Bets folder at the top of the page. If you want, you can check any bets you have made here, or cash out any live bets.
Functionality, navigation, and live betting
A huge plus is navigation that is seamless and extremely user-friendly with this app. There are links to the sports markets, in-play betting and bet slip along the top, while at the top right of the screen there is a link to the account section that contains all the account information along with links to the help section and responsible gambling.
Using quick link options for major sports on the main page is particularly helpful as it saves the user from having to open the sports drop-down list whenever they want to access a popular option such as football, tennis or horse racing.
All in all, navigation around the app is as easy and as seamless as possible.
Our experiments have always found the app to run smoothly and be responsive, on a mobile device or on an iPad. You can also edit your bet on the phone seamlessly, go over to your bet slip and generate all the changes you need instantly.
Any bet delay in-play has been kept to a minimum and odds have been updated quickly. Obviously, this depends on the strength of your internet connection, but during testing the app always went smoothly. Live streaming is a region where bet365 beats all the others.
Any other features worth noting
When viewing live streams on the mobile application, standard limitations apply: the criteria for using the live streaming service are geo-location, having funds in your betting wallet and/or placing a bet in the last 24 hours.
Anything else to add we could go on and on with a whole list of characteristics but we’ve already discussed the primary characteristics and at this stage if you’re still not persuaded that another bookmaker is likely worth attempting.
The only true thing to add is that both the promotions and the desktop version offer all the same features on the mobile. These can be found in the offers tab, unsurprisingly, and you will see only app offers from time to time.
One of the greatest sports betting applications around is secure to tell. The bet365 app has very few shortcomings, making it one of our favourite betting applications. It has all the desktop and laptop version characteristics with the added advantage you can play on the go.
There are a few better betting options than those offered here by bet365. The interface is very user-friendly and the app works seamlessly with stuff changing all the time with the betting sector.
While betting, if you’re a fan of live streaming, this is definitely the app for you.
