Tottenham once again need to rise out of a slump when they take on Watford in the midweek action. Spurs remain in the race for the top four places, but the likes of Chelsea have moved within four points off the North London outfit. Tottenham are slowly slipping out of the title race with the team nine points behind Liverpool. Betting Tips for the game
Tottenham suffered a cup exit for the second consecutive game after a 2-0 defeat against Crystal Palace through the team out of the FA Cup. The defeat comes just days after the loss against Chelsea on penalties in the League Cup.
Watford were able to come up with a 2-0 victory over Newcastle to stretch their unbeaten run even further. The Hornets have now gone six games without a loss.
The recent fixture between Spurs and Watford produced a 2-2 draw with the London team winning on penalties. The reverse fixture in the league witnessed Watford getting a 2-1 victory at Vicarage Road earlier in the campaign. Our betting tips and predictions expect a draw.

Tottenham are in a spot of bother with the team missing crucial players like Harry Kane and Dele Alli. The absence of such key players is tough on any team and it is especially true for a club with a small squad. Mauricio Pochettino remains defiant about Spurs’ form but it is likely that the team will need most of the best players back in order to make an improvement. Watford have been doing extremely well over the last few weeks and they have gone on a six-game unbeaten run on the road. Our preview would pick a stalemate.

Tottenham vs Watford draw odds: 4.00
Watford win odds: 5.75
Correct Score odds
Spurs are unlikely to make a major impact going forward as they have been creatively poor over the last few weeks. The return of Christian Eriksen to the starting line-up will certainly help improve on their performance against Crystal Palace during the weekend, but it is unlikely to be decisive. Watford have been defensively poor even if they have lost very few away matches since November. Our correct score prediction would opt for a 1-1 draw.

Over/Under 2.5 Goals odds
Tottenham have largely been able to win games against Watford with a little comfort and most of those matches have experienced over 2.5 goals. Yet, there is an air of uncertainty and disappointment surrounding Spurs over the last few matches. This is likely to translate into a game with under 2.5 goals, according to our total goals prediction.

First Goalscorer odds
Fernando Llorente is the top forward for Tottenham at this moment and he was able to score against Fulham to overcome the absence of Harry Kane, who is not expected back until after a few weeks. Our first goalscorer prediction would back Fernando Llorente.
