Website

The first thing to make clear is that the Sports Betting Africa website is tremendous. This is no surprise when you see that the website is powered by software including Sportradar.

The website is extremely user-friendly and utilises the standard three-column format used by all leading bookmakers. The colour scheme is clear and visually pleasing with a red, white and grey colour scheme. Different areas of the website are easy to navigate. The Tabs across the top include Sports, Top Leagues, Live Betting, Virtuals, Football Jackpot, Casino, Promotions, Betting Rules and FAQ.

The left-hand side column is dedicated to the markets on offer whilst there is an option to go straight to live events or the statistics area of the website. The statistics area takes you to sportsradar and the information available is nothing short of phenomenal for over 30 sports.

The Bet Slip is located to the right-hand side of the page and you can also access the Casino and Jackpot sections from this area of the homepage.

The centre column of the website shows a display of events that are in play along with the major events coming up. These are usually football events and odds are displayed as decimals as is standard in Africa. Odds at first sight seems more than competitive.

The footer on the homepage allows you to access information about the bookmaker, help, contact us and news. The news section is a nice feature and provides you with lots of information regarding what is going on in the world of sports.

The range of markets available is extremely comprehensive and is seemingly unrivalled in comparison to the other bookmakers in Uganda. The amount of markets regularly exceeds 150 whilst there are often more for the most high-profile of games. These markets include the commonly found markets such as 1X2, First Goalscorer and Handicap Betting as well as the more obscure markets such as Correct Score HT/FT and last team to score. The correct score at HT/FT is extremely rare and is often not found in the most established bookmakers across the globe.

Live Betting

Sports Betting Africa also offers a good variety of in-play markets on almost every sport that they offer as part of the Sportsbook. This was certainly not the case previously but the range now is more than acceptable. It is not rare to find dozens of Tennis matches at any given time whilst each individual sport has an informative in-play graphic to keep punters up to date. Their Live Betting display for football is as good as anything we have seen. The graphic clearly displays the location of the ball on the pitch as well as who is in possession. There are also loads of stats on offer including possession, goal attempts, shots on target, shots off target, corners, yellow cards, red cards, injuries, fouls, saves, and throw-ins. They can also be broken down into first and second halves whilst there is also a percentage breakdown for each team based on dangerous attacks, attacks and ball safety. We have rarely seen this range of in-play statistics with any bookmaker.

Casino

Sports Betting Africa has a cracking Casino section on the site which includes Slots, Blackjack, Roulette, Poker, Lotteries, Keno, Instant Wins and an additional Virtual section.

Virtual Sports

Conclusion

Sports Betting Africa is extremely impressive and some of the features of their website mean they can compete with many bookmakers on an international scale. Odds are impressive and the fact that they offer a Virtuals and Casino section along with their comprehensive Sports Book means they are one of the best bookmakers we have reviewed. The limited customer service contacts are a slight negative on this Ugandan bookmaker.
