There is also a Sports Betting Africa Free Bets article on this website. Please visit this page for information on how to get a welcome bonus up to 300,000UGX.
Please read further for a comprehensive review of the bookmaker.
The first thing to make clear is that the Sports Betting Africa website is tremendous. This is no surprise when you see that the website is powered by software including sportradar.
The website is extremely user-friendly and utilises the standard three column format used by all leading bookmakers. The colour scheme is a clear and visually pleasing with a red, white and grey colour scheme. Different areas of the website are easy to navigate to. The Tabs across the top include Sports, Top Leagues, Live Betting, Virtuals, Football Jackpot, Casino, Promotions, Betting Rules and FAQ.
The left hand side column is dedicated to the markets on offer whilst their is an option to go straight to live events or the statistics area of the website. The statistics area takes you to sportsradar and the information available is nothing short of phenomenal for over 30 sports.
The Bet Slip is located to the right hand side of the page whilst you can also access the Casino and Jackpot sections from this area of the homepage.
The centre column of the website shows a display of events that are in-play along with the major events coming up. These are usually football events and odds are displayed as decimals as is standard in Africa. Odds at first sight seem more than competitive.
The footer on the homepage allows you to access information about the bookmaker, help, contact us and news. The news section is a nice feature and provides you with lots of information regarding what is going on in the world of sport.
It is worth noting that there is also an Android app which can be downloaded by going to the following link
The range of markets available is extremely comprehensive and is seemingly unrivalled in comparison to the other bookmakers in Uganda. The sports currently on offer include Football, Boxing, Volleyball, Tennis, Table Tennis, Snooker, Rugby, Motor Sports, Handball, Golf, Floorball, Darts, Cycling, Basketball, Baseball and American Football. These sports regularly increase in number.
Like almost all African bookmakers the major area of interest for Sports Betting Africa is Football. Infact, SBA excel in this respect and offer markets on over 50 different football leagues. These of course include all of the major European leagues. As well as a large amount of leagues to bet on the amount of markets available for individual games is astounding. The amount of markets regularly exceeds 150 whilst there are often more for the most high profile of games. These markets include the commonly found markets such as 1X2, First Goalscorer and Handicap Betting as well as the more obscure markets such as Correct Score HT/FT and last team to score. The correct score at HT/FT is extremely rare and is often not found in the most established bookmakers across the globe.
Sports Betting Africa also offer a good variety of in-play markets on almost every sport that they offer as part of the Sportsbook. This was certainly not the case previously but the range now is more than acceptable. It is not rare to find dozens of Tennis matches at any given time whilst each individual sports has an informative in-play graphic to keep punters up to date. There Live Betting display for football is as good as anything we have seen. The graphic clearly displays the location of the ball on the pitch as well as who is in possession. There are also loads of stats on offer including possession, goal attempts, shots on target, shots off target, corners, yellow cards, red cards, injuries, fouls, saves, and throw ins. The can also be broken down into first and second half whilst there is also a percentage break down for each team based on dangerous attacks, attacks and ball safe. We have rarely seen this range of in-play statistics with any bookmaker.
Sports Betting Africa have a cracking Casino section on the site which includes Slots, Blackjack, Roulette, Poker, Lotteries, Keno, Instant Wins and an additional Virtual section.
There are six variations of Blackjack, seven variations of Roulette, three Poker games, eight Keno options and over 200 slot games.
Unlike a number of Ugandan bookmakers Sports Betting Africa are also offering Virtual options to their customers. They offer Virtual options on Basketball, Tennis and Football. The software utilised is extremely advanced and the frequency you can place bets is as regular as can be expected for Virtual betting. Do not be surprised to see more sports added to this section in the near future as the amount of sports has trebled already in the space of a few months.
Payment Options available at SBA are multiple and you can pay via MTN Mobil Money, Airtel, Africell and SBA Voucher. This is once again more than most of their Ugandan competitors.
One area that Sports Betting Africa fall a little short is with regards to contacting their Customer Service Team. At the time of writing you can only contact them via Whatsapp or email using their online Web Form. They do also have an active Facebook and twitter page which allows you to message them but we are unaware of what their response rate is like with regards to this. Please note that there is an FAQ section that may resolve any issues that you have.

Sports Betting Africa are extremely impressive and some of the features of their website mean they can compete with many bookmakers on an international scale. Odds are impressive and the fact that they offer a Virtuals and Casino section along with their comprehensive Sports Book means they are one of the best bookmakers we have reviewed. The limited customer service contacts are a slight negative on this Ugandan bookmaker.
