Despite only being established in 1970, PSG are rapidly closing in on the record for most Ligue 1 titles in their history. Currently, they are level with Marseille and Saint-Etienne all-time on 10 titles each, although they had won just two titles prior to the QSI investment, coming in the 1985/86 and 1993/94 seasons. Outside of Ligue 1, PSG also won Ligue 2 in their first history in existence in 1970/71.
