Hull City welcome Swansea City to the KCOM Stadium for Saturday’s late Championship kick-off. The Yorkshire outfit have recently built up a four-match unbeaten run which has witnessed them jump five points ahead of the drop zone. Swansea, meanwhile, are four points adrift of the playoff places after securing back-to-back triumphs. Follow all our predictions, odds, football bets and betting tips below.

Betting Tips for the game

Hull secured their second triumph in three matches after a 2-0 victory over Brentford in their home patch. Fraizer Campbell starred for Nigel Adkins’ men with a quick-fire brace in the opening 25 minutes.

Swansea bagged their second-straight victory after getting the better of Sheffield Wednesday by a 2-1 scoreline. Bersant Celina and Wayne Routledge scored after the 70th minute to secure the club’s fourth comeback win of the season.

Hull’s previous encounter against Swansea City was at the KCOM Stadium in March 2017 which finished 2-1 in their favour. Our betting tips and predictions fancy a share of the spoils.

Match odds

Swansea are backed at 2.80 to secure the three points while Hull are priced at 2.50 for the same. The Swans will be up against a Hull team which has kept three clean sheets in their previous four home matches but we are still fancying them to secure a point, given they have managed to find the scoresheet against each of their previous nine opponents. Our preview predicts a score draw.

Hull City win odds: 2.50

Swansea City win odds: 2.80

Correct Score odds

Hull have managed just three goals in their previous four matches at the KCOM Stadium but they have nonetheless kept three shutouts which has helped them to secure seven points. However, they may have to settle for only a stalemate against Swansea, who have managed to breach the opposition’s goal line in the past four away games. Our correct score prediction would back a 1-1 draw.

Over/Under 2.5 Goals odds

Hull have recently improved on their defensive displays in their home turf and this has resulted in a maximum of two goals in the past four matches at their stadium. This has been the outcome in four of Swansea’s previous five visits to the east Yorkshire outfit. Our total goals prediction is to go for less than 2.5 goals.

First Goalscorer odds

Fraizer Campbell has been Hull’s leading scorer this campaign with eight league goals. He has netted half of that tally in the past five matches while opening the scoring against Brentford last weekend. Hence, the former Manchester United graduate should hold the best chance of opening the scoresheet against Swansea despite failing to score against them in seven appearances. Our first goalscorer prediction is to go with Campbell.
