Website Review

The homepage of the Elitebet Kenya website has all the links you need to enjoy a great betting experience. At the left-hand side of the homepage you will find some quick links such as Live Betting, Jackpot, Last Minute and Today, and underneath those, you will see most popular football leagues. The Sports menu is right below this, although there aren’t too many sports to bet on here at Elitebet. There is a toolbar at the top of the website with the following sections: Home, Sports, Live, Jackpot, Virtuals, Spin & Win, Super 6 and Statistics. The live games are just below this toolbar and if you scroll down at the bottom you should see the Top Events. The Betslip can be found at the right-hand side of the home page while the Live Chat feature is located at the bottom-right corner.

The Jackpot section is displayed in two places on the homepage but there is no Jackpot available at the moment. The Spin and Win tab takes you to a virtual roulette where the user can place bets on colours or predict the right numbers. Meanwhile, the Super 6 section is actually a lottery game where you need to pick five numbers out of a total of 48. Virtuals is a common feature amongst the Kenyan gambling websites and refers to virtual football betting. The best feature available at Elitebet is the Statistics tab which gives you the possibility to view the standings, top scorers, head-to-head results, etc for almost every league.

Markets and Odds

It has to be said that Elitebet are lacking when it comes to the sports they offer and the number of betting markets. Their offer is limited with just four sports available: Football, Tennis, Basketball and Handball. As for the betting markets, you can only find the most popular ones, but the overall number of markets for the important events is poor with just 49 betting markets available. This means that the users’ betting choices aren’t too extensive. The odds are several points lower than those offered by the competitors.

The only positive thing is that you don’t need Internet to place a bet with Elitebet, as they allows you to bet by SMS. You just need to take the match code, to add (#1, #2 and for home win, away win and draw respectively) add an asterisk and then your stake. A bet via SMS should look like this: 7575#1*100 to 29210.

Live Betting / Elitebet In-play Betting

Elitebet has introduced the live betting section last year, but the interface is not very responsive and it takes a couple of seconds to load the game you want. There is a 2D pitch view, but the live betting markets are poor as even a popular fixture doesn’t have more than ten markets.

Mobile Betting

The website’s interface isn’t great, which means that the mobile version is worse than that. The betting  market selection dropdown menus can be a problem for the phones with smaller screens and lower processors and sometimes the website reloads after selecting a bet. There is no mobile application at the moment, but at least you can place your bets from the phone via the SMS betting service.

Elitebet Customer support

One of the biggest plus points at Elitebet is that their live chat service is 24/7 and it pops up when you access the website. The support centre is very responsive and the Elitebet agents can help you to solve any issues you may have when you bet with Elitebet.

Conclusion

Elitebet may have been on the Kenyan gambling industry since its beginning, but they still have a lot of work to be done. Their sports offer is too short, and even for the football fans they have a limited selection of betting markets. The positive things are the stake refund, the virtual roulette for the gamblers and the SMS betting service.
