Celta Vigo Honours

Celta Vigo have never won La Liga or the Copa Del Rey during their history, but have made the final of the latter on three separate occasions, losing to Sevilla and Real Zaragoza twice in 1948, 1994 and 2001, respectively. Their best-ever finish in Spanish football came in the 2002/03 season, when they finished fourth in La Liga, earning themselves a place in the group stage of the Champions League in the following campaign in the process. Celta Vigo also made the semi-finals of the Europa League for the first time in the 2016/17 season, losing to eventual winners Manchester United over two legs, who went on to beat Ajax in the final.

All of Celta Vigo’s trophy wins have been outside of the top two prizes in Spanish football, with three separate Segunda Division titles to their name. They won promotion to La Liga as champions in the 1935/36, 1981/82 and 1991/92 seasons. They also won the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 2000, as well as having eight regional titles to their name in six Galician Championship and two Galician Cups.
