The AMEX Stadium holds the upcoming match between Brighton and Chelsea on Sunday. Chelsea occupy the final Champions League qualification support coming into this game while Brighton are trying to get into the top half of the table with just a couple of points separating them from the 10th place. Follow all our predictions, free bets, football bets and betting tips below.

Betting Tips for the game

Brighton’s recent game against Burnley ended up as a 1-0 result that went in favour of the latter at Turf Moor. This was the first loss for Chris Hughton’s men in four matches.

Chelsea produced a splendid performance to beat title favourites Manchester City 2-0 at Stamford Bridge last weekend. The blues, however, dropped points in the Europa League – despite qualifying as the group – after a 2-2 draw against MOL Vidi.

The recent fixture between Brighton and Chelsea produced a 4-0 victory for the latter at the AMEX Stadium with Eden Hazard scoring a hat-trick. Our betting tips and predictions expect a victory for Chelsea.

Match odds

Brighton have lost only once in the last four matches but they are up against a quality opposition like Chelsea, who will be able to dictate possession and most statistics to a great deal. Hughton’s men are expected to counter the same with a defensive approach, but Chelsea have enough quality to get the decisive goal. Even though Maurizio Sarri has had to deal with his team going through a three-game winless run on the road, their performances have been quite sufficient. Our preview would take a win for Chelsea.

Correct Score odds

The Blues have been able to score a decent return of goals without being able to set the charts on fire. Apart from the four-goal haul against PAOK, Chelsea have been able to score under 2.5 goals in the last eight matches across all competitions. Brighton are expected to have significant numbers at the back. As a result, our correct score prediction would go with a 2-1 win for the blues.

Over/Under 2.5 Goals odds

Chelsea have not been defensively solid when it comes to away matches and it is easily deflected from a team that has conceded seven goals in the last three away matches. Brighton may appear to be heavily dependent on Glen Murray for the goals, but they also have a weapon in their arsenal – set pieces. It takes just a second to break a strong defence using a set piece situation. Our total goals prediction would go with over 2.5 goals.

First Goalscorer odds

Eden Hazard was able to come up with a brace against Brighton in the recent meeting on this ground last season. The Belgian enters into the match without a goal in any of his last four games for club and country. However, he has been churning up good performances of late. Our first goalscorer prediction would back Eden Hazard.
