Birmingham City welcome Middlesbrough to St Andrew’s for Saturday’s Championship kick-off. Garry Monk’s side have remained unbeaten since mid-December but their tendency to draw games sees them four points behind the playoff places. Middlesbrough, meanwhile, have gone through a mixed run of form with a couple of defeats in the same period but they are still in the top six with a four-point advantage over seventh-placed Nottingham Forest. Middlesbrough are given a price of 2.87 for the win while Birmingham are backed at 2.70 for the same result. Boro have not played to the best of their abilities in recent months but they have still fared impressively on the road with just one defeat since October. Correct Score odds
Birmingham have netted eight goals in the past five matches at St Andrew’s and they should fancy finding the scoresheet against Middlesbrough, who have kept just one clean sheet in the last five games on the road. Boro come into the clash having scored at least once in the previous five away trips. Our correct score prediction would back a 1-1 draw.

Over/Under 2.5 Goals odds
Birmingham have improved defensively as the season has progressed and they have witnessed under three goals in the past three matches. A similar outcome should be witnessed this weekend, given they will be up against Middlesbrough, who possess the league’s best defence without overly impressing with their scoring prowess.
