The Italian Grand Prix qualifying saw Lewis Hamilton back to his best again. Hamilton grabbed pole position for the race in the dying moments of Q3. Force India seem to be enjoying some race form too. After their first pole in Belgium, they just missed out in Monza qualifying after Hamilton’s late pole sprint. This time it is Adrian Sutil who is enjoying the Force India’s spotlight after Fisichella was released to race for Ferrari for the remainder of the season.
Kimi Raikkonen for Ferarri starts third in the grid for his home race with Hamilton’s team-mate Heikki Kovalainen just behind in fourth. Rubens Barrichello and Jenson Button start 5th and 6th, and while this could be a bit disappointing for Button again, he will be happy that his main competitors for the title Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber start ninth and tenth. Tonio Liuzzi, who is Fisichella’s replacement at Force India came up with the seventh fastest qualifying time.
The Italian Grand Prix is one of the oldest motor racing events and is always great to bet on.
