England vs Croatia betting

Betting on England vs Croatia could be quite big considering a win will seal them a place in the World Cup 2010 finals in South Africa.
In their first qualifying meeting in September 2008, England thrashed Croatia 4-1 in a game which saw a Theo Walcott hat-trick and fine display by Wayne Rooney. It was a game of revenge for the loss that ended England’s Euro 2008 dreams.

This time around, Croatia are the ones looking for revenge. Coach Slaven Bili? believe that Croatia are a better team now and that Fabio Capello has taken away the English fighting spirit. England have done tremendously well so far in qualifying with a 100% record, 7 wins out of 7.

Capello has enjoyed an improved England attack, with Jermain Defoe on fine form at the moment. Will he get a starting 11 inclusion against Croatia, or will Capello continue to favour the style of play that the bigger Heskey brings?

While the goals have kept coming, England have come under a bit of criticism for the needless goals they have started to concede. This continued in the 2-1 win over Slovenia on Saturday. They will have to minimise the errors against the creative Croatian side if they expect a win.

England are now 3rd fav to win the tournament, just behind Brazil + Spain! You can see the Top 10 WC goals here – http://www.worldcupodds.eu + suggest some they’ve missed.
