The men’s semi-finals get underway at Wimbledon tomorrow with Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer going head to head in one of the matches.
As number one and number three seed, this side of the draw at SW 19 has gone the way many expected and now these two fantastic players go up against each other.
Looking at Djokovic to begin with, he has been as consistent and professional as ever and has not really looked under threat in the tournament so far.
The Serbian has dropped just one set in the tournament, showing that he is on top of his game at the moment.
Djokovic is looking to win back to back titles at the All English Tennis Club, something he has never achieved before. He is now going for his sixth Grand Slam title and fifth in two years.
The 25-year-old will know what a tough test he faces though and that he must be at his absolute best to reach the final.
As for Federer, he seems to love playing at Wimbledon, with six titles at SW 19 already to his name he has the experience and knowhow to go on and win a seventh.
It has not been plain sailing for the 30-year-old in the competition so far though. In the third round he had to come from two sets down to beat Frenchman Julien Benneteau.
However, in the quarter-finals Federer looked back to his best and was victorious in straight sets. He has now failed to make a Grand Slam semi-final just three times since 2004, which shows what a fantastic player he is.
This match could not be any more difficult though as Djokovic is the number one in the world at the moment. It will take a massive performance for the man from Switzerland to come out on top.
