Manchester City travel to Carrow Road on Saturday to take on a Norwich City side enjoying life in mid –table of the Premier League.
City thrashed West Brom 4-0 in midweek and with first place Manchester United going down 1-0 at Wigan, hope is not over for Roberto Mancini and his team.
Mancini’s side could go within two points of the league leaders with a win at Norwich with United not playing until Sunday against Aston Villa.
It is a huge game for the Citizen’s who will hope to still have something to play for when they meet Sir Alex Ferguson’s side in a couple of weeks.
The win over the Baggies was a welcome return to form for City, who had not won in three games prior to Wednesday night.
Carlos Tevez scored his first goal of the season and looked like the player that led Man City to their FA Cup success last year. The Argentina striker was linking up play very well and got himself on the score sheet.
Mancini will know his side face a very tough test against a Norwich side that have really turned a few heads this season.
Paul Lambert’s side pulled of an incredible 2-1 victory at White Hart Lane on Monday, The Canaries fully deserved all three points after outplaying Tottenham for most of the game.
With his side now on 43 points Lambert will not let his players rest. He will target a top ten finish at the least. Anthony Pilkington has scored eight goals from midfield this season, the summer signing has not talking all the plaudits he perhaps deserved.
With games still to play against Arsenal and Liverpool, Norwich will be very happy not to find themselves in a relegation battle, instead they sit in tenth position with many people touting Paul Lambert for the manager of the year award.

Norwich Captain and leading goal scorer Grant Holt is the favourite to break the deadlock to for Norwich. SportingBet has City’s number nine at 9.00 (8/1) to score first.
