US Open preview – Andy Murray

Posted on 03 August 2010 by admin in Tennis, headline

Although he is third favourite for the US Open title, Andy Murray doesn’t seem like a good bet after sacking yet another of his coaches. At 23 he has now had five coaches and doesn’t seem to be settling. If he is to push forward in his career, Murray needs to find a permanent coach and stick with them. His impatients seems to be affecting his decision making. Rather than sacking his coach at the sign of any drop in form, which happens ever too often in football, he should work through the problems and will most likely be better off for it.

For those looking at tennis betting, Murray has a lot of pressure on his shoulders to win a Grand Slam, but it will come in due course. The US Open is considered one of Murray’s best chances to win a Grand Slam as it features his favourite hard court surfaces. He reached his first Grand Slam final at the US Open, however unless he gets back on track and manages to regain his form, the likes of Rafael Nadal and Rodger Federer are always going to be ahead of him in the potential winners list.

The US Open will take place on August 30th.
