Martin Jol has jumped into poll position to take over the Fulham managers job after being as high as 310.0 at the beginning of July. He has over taken Sven Goran Eriksson who was previously the favourite to get the job.
Martin Jol who currently manages Ajax is now the 2.2 favourite to get the job, a massive change from the 310.0 odds just two weeks ago. Since then there has been much speculation on a return to the Premiership for Jol, and that has seen the odds shoot down.
Sven Goran Eriksson the previous favourite, now sits in second place in the odds chart at 8.0.
Other contenders for the Fulham job include Dave Jones (8.0) (Cardiff City), Ottmar Hitzfeld (15.0) (Switzerland coach) and Stuart Baxter (23.0) (Finland coach).
During his time in the Premiership with Tottenham, Jol guided them to two 5th place finishes. It seems that this success has now got the punters backing him to be the next Fulham boss.
