Premiership betting (wk36) Newcastle v Middlesbrough

Posted on 08 May 2009 by admin in Football

This week could be the crunch game for 2 big premiership teams. Newcastle play Middlesbrough at home and the winner could very well be the team who stays in the premiership next season. A draw would not be good for either team as they need to reach Hull who are placed 3 points above them.
The match happens on monday so we will already know the outcome of Hull’s game against Stoke. A win for Hull would not be good because it would mean both teams need to win all 3 remaining games to ensure a chance of not being relegated.

The other big game this week is Arsenal vs Chelsea. Both teams are suffering from being knocked out of the Champions League this week. It could shape up to be a good game.

Manchester United play their game in hand against Wigan in mid week, so could put themselves in a stronger position to make sure they retain their premiership champion status.

This week’s fixtures:

Saturday, 9 May 2009
Blackburn v Portsmouth, 15:00
Bolton v Sunderland, 15:00
Everton v Tottenham, 15:00
Fulham v Aston Villa, 15:00
Hull v Stoke, 15:00
West Brom v Wigan, 15:00
West Ham v Liverpool, 17:30
