The final is here! Its been an exciting tournament this time around. Possibly one of the best. From stylish football to pure determination by some teams.

The group of death nearly finished the opposite to the highly predicted outcome. Other groups have seen some teams rise in stature…noticeably Russia and Turkey. Turkey in particular were very unlucky not to get to the final. The German Yoga must have had something to do with it.

Anyway, down to the final. It looks set to be a good one! Spain have had huge disappointment in tournaments gone by, but they have finally made it with some excellent talent in their team. Apart from the striking duo Torres and Villa, who cannot be matched by any other team, we have seen young players like Fabregas (21 years old) inspire the team with his energy, vision and skill. It looks like he will take Villa’s place in the team tonight after he was ruled out through injury.

Germany are also without arguably their most important player, Michael Ballack who missed the last training session. Although Spain are convinced it is a ploy to throw them off, and they are expecting him to play. We shall see…

If this game done come down to penalties, Spain will be worried because Germany haven’t missed one for many many years. Lets, hope it is a bit more exciting than that. Considering what Turkey did to Germany, Spain could be in for some luck. However Germany somehow keep coming up with wins even after playing badly in many of their games.
